Weight loss success story

 She is Ruth!! 她, 是慧珍。 She is 44 years old now. She lost 10kg and 10% body fat and has maintain her figure since... :) How to achieve this?!?

I want my Mama to be healthy

My Mama is 30 years older than me. Her weight is slightly heavier than me. And she is starting to have some of the alignments that old people would normally have; dry eyes, pain in the foot and knee. These are the things that I can see and I know she is not telling us children what other issues she has. I want my Mama to be healthy and live a longer life.

I told my Mama I want to make her healthy and I can help you. "Can I start you on a Healthy Breakfast lifestyle?" My Mama said YES!! Oh my goodness!! I am so HAPPY!!

My weight loss journey

WHY loss weight?!?

i decided to loss weight because of health; I could feel that there's something wrong with my body. I didn't dare to go for any health checkup in the clinic or hospital. But i know i need to make some changes!! I could feel numbness in my fingers every now and then and my knees would no longer support me like the way they do some years ago. Yes, I was putting on some fair bit of weight and I believe that this is the root cause of all the things that I am experiencing!! i need to change!!

I started my weight loss journey on 17 August 2012...


 I was like this in Mar 2012 but i thought that I was still looking quite fine.

 I saw this photo in early in October 2012 and THIS is the photo that gave me the shock!! Who the He** is this fat woman!!?!! LOL oh my goodness!! My uncle posted this on his Facebook after his trip to Singapore in Jun 2012 for visiting... but am i lucky or what?!? I was already making changes and I saw a different me in Oct 2012!! :)

 And this was how I looked like in my children's eyes; Niko took this photo of me in Jul 2012.

 This is me at DAY 47 (02 Oct 2012) of my weight loss journey.


 and this is me at DAY 92 (14 Nov 2012) of my weight loss journey.

Total loss in about 92 days
Weight: 10.2kg
Body fats: 4.7%
Visceral fat: 2

I am still losing the extra weight and i am on my way to reach my ideal weight of 53kg!! Give me another 3 months!! I can do it!!

 at DAY 106 (30 Nov 2012), my body fats didn't go down for the past 2 weeks as I haven't been doing 100% of what I am suppose to be doing!! aaaaArrrggghhh!! I swear I will make everything go down in the next 2 weeks!! :)


Total loss in about 106 days
Weight: 11.3kg
Body fats: 4.7%
Visceral fat: 2

I was getting very BIG!!

October 2012...

I almost got a heart attack!!

I realised in August 2012 that I am getting big, really BIG!! Geesh!! I didn't know that I am getting THAT big!! Until my uncle posted a photo of mine on Facebook in early October...!!

This was me, having chicken rice for late lunch sometime in June 2012.

Goodness me!!

But I am glad that I had decided that I NEED to lose those extra weights/fats in August 2012 even before my uncle posted this photo of me!!
